-The meeting consists of two parts. Come for one or both!

  • Part I – 5:45-6:15 What’s next? New School after Montessori.

(A panel of past Montessori families talk about their transition and what they want you to know).

  • Part II – 6:20-6:50 Why Montessori Kindergarten OR What You Want to Know About the Montessori Elementary Class. You would attend one or the other.
  • Babysitting for Montessori children and their siblings begins at 5:30 and ends at 6:55. Drop off and pickup will be in the dining room.

  • Spots are limited to the first 50 children signed up.
  • Pizza will be served to the children.

Thanksgiving Break will be from Wednesday, November 26th through Friday, November 28th.

  • Children with AM and/or PM care in their program may attend their regular hours on Wednesday, November 26th for daycare activities. Reminder – there will be no car lines for drop offs or pickups.
  • The building will not be open for school or daycare on Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th.

Jackets, sweaters, etc. – It’s the time of year for colder weather in the morning, please send your child with a jacket/coat for outdoor playtime and remember to put your child’s name or initials inside to avoid any lost items. Thanks!

If your child has a fever, is vomiting and/or has diarrhea, they must stay home for 24 hours from their last symptom; even if this happened over the weekend.

  • Look for an email from your child’s teacher regarding how to sign up for this conference (in person or Zoom).
  • There will be No School for all Preprimary classes only – daycare for students with AM and/or PM care in their program.
  • The Sequoia Room (Elementary) will have school – No car lines.
  • Children may not attend the parent teacher conferences. The teacher reserves the right to cancel a conference if your child is present.
  • Information that your teacher shares with you about your child, should not be shared with your child.

Scholastic Book Fair Sales – Thank you to all families who helped to support our fall book fair! The total earnings from our school were $2,579.08 and our teachers received $850.00 in Scholastic Dollars to use for new classroom books!!

Daylight Savings ends this Sunday, November 2nd. The time will fall back 1 hour Sunday morning.

  • We will do a car line at 8:00 AM separately for families whose children are attending the field trip that day.
  • Children going on the field trip need to be in the building no later than 8:15 AM.
  • Siblings can be dropped off at the same time.

International Day of Peace is Sunday, September 21st – We will be observing it this Friday, September 19th.

  • PTO will be hosting a Meet & Greet Coffee and Donuts from 10:00-11:00 in the Multipurpose Room.
  • The children will be singing and signing the song, “Light a Candle for Peace,” from 11:00-11:15.
  • Parents are welcome to come and watch outside in our back patio area.
  • Half day children can be picked up after the performance; please let the office know if you’re picking up early.

There will not be a time for children and parents to meet before, during or after the singing. If you are coming that morning, please let your child know that you will be there to watch, but will not be picking up at that time. There have been a few tears in the past due to this possible misunderstanding.

Practice Singing & Signing “Light a Candle for Peace” with your child– A big Thank You to Ms. Lori from the Oak room, who composed a Mashup of the song for us!

  • Office staff will help you locate your child.
  • When you arrive to the classroom, it is time for your child to clean up and go home.
  • Any unfinished projects can be completed the next school day.
  • Gather your child’s bag, lunchbox and/or nap items and exit the school through the office door.
  • Lingering in classrooms is not permitted.

EZ School lunch reminder – On the 15th of every month, you can sign up for the upcoming month’s lunches.

  • This includes children bringing a lunch from home.
  • If your child is absent, please remember to deselect their lunch choice.
  • This ensures children receiving a hot lunch won’t be charged when absent.

Sending things to school via Montessori bag – If you are sending an item in the Montessori bag, please let us know via email. We do not regularly check the children’s bags.
