  • NO LIGHT UP SHOES. The presentation is in the Planetarium and disruptive to the program.

Sugar Bush Social – In the past, the Elementary class hosted a Sugar Bush Social with a little help from our families. If you have a maple tree(s) in your yard and are willing to “tap” the sap, we can provide the tubes, jug(s) and simple instructions…just let us know by responding to this email!

This will begin to happen over the next couple weeks.

  • A card needs to be sent for each student in the class.

Hot Chocolate Sales – The elementary class raised $225.00 to help with the tornado relief efforts. The money was donated to the American Red Cross. Thank you to all who were able to come and share a cup of hot chocolate with us or made a donation.

Hot Chocolate Sale!

Tomorrow, December 14th, The Elementary Class will be selling Hot Chocolate to help those effected by the recent tornados in Tennessee.

  • Where: West parking lot.
  • When: Thursday, December 14th from 3:00-4:30.
  • Cost: $1.00 per cup.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Re-enrollment 24-25 contracts are due today Wednesday, December 13th.

  • If you are re-enrolling, return the signed contract with the $100.00 registration fee (per child).
  • If you are not re-enrolling, fill in your child’s name and initial the upper right-hand corner and return to school.
  • Current Kindergarteners and Mr. R’s Third graders will not need to return any paperwork.

Bookfair Sales – Thank you to all families who participated in our fall bookfair. The total earnings from our school were $2026.50 and our teachers received over $800.00 in Scholastic Dollars for new classroom books!

  • Spots are limited to the first 50 children signed up.
  • Pizza will be served to the children.

Thanksgiving break will be from Wednesday, November 22nd through Friday, November 24th.

  • Children with AM and/or PM care in their program may attend their regular hours on Wednesday, November 22nd for daycare activities. Reminder – there will be no car lines for drop offs or pickups.
  • The building will not be open for school or daycare Thursday, November 23rd or Friday, November 24th.

A few reminders –

If your child has a fever, is vomiting and/or has diarrhea, they must stay home for 24 hours from their last symptom; even if this happened over the weekend.

Sending things to school via Montessori bag – If you are sending an item in the Montessori bag, please let us know via email.  We do not regularly check the children’s bags.
