Tomorrow, September 4th – PTO Event: Welcome to your child’s class!

  • 5:30- Babysitting begins for Montessori children and their siblings. If all spots are filled, please contact Kristi asap.
  • The number of children under three years old is full.
  • Goldfish and a cheese stick will be served.
  • 5:45-6:30 Meeting: Welcome comments from PTO and then meet in classrooms with your child’s teacher.

International Day of Peace is Sunday, September 21st – We will be observing it Friday, September 19th. In previous years, we have participated in the world-wide continuous singing of the peace song.

  • The children’s performance will start at 11:00 AM.
  • We’ll be singing as a school in our back field for 10-15 minutes.
  • Parents are welcome to come and watch outside of the dining room door (back patio area).
  • Parents of Half-Day students need to let the office know if they want to pick their child up early.

There will not be a time for children and parents to meet before, during or after the singing. If you are coming that morning, please let your child know that you will be there to watch, but will not be picking up at that time. There have been a few tears in the past due to this possible misunderstanding.

PTO will be hosting a Meet & Greet Coffee and Donuts from 10:00-11:00 in the Multipurpose Room.

Annual School Play – Friday, April 25th @ 7:00 PM

School Play Tickets –

  • Play tickets may be purchased in the office any day up until the morning of the play, Friday, April 25th.
  • Seats must be bought in advance. The cost is $6 for the lower level and $10 for the balcony; cash or check only.
  • We have a chart of where your child will be standing on the stage to help you choose the seat that is right for your family.
  • If a child cannot sit comfortable in your lap for two hours, they will need their own seat/ticket. The play is geared for elementary age children and up.
  • We do not recommend bringing infants or toddlers due to the confines of the seating, the difficulty getting in/out and the length of the program. We record the program for later DVD sales. Crying children make it difficult for those around you to hear and record over.

No School Friday, April 18th 2025 – Good Friday

  • Students who have AM and/or PM care in their program may attend their regular hours for daycare activities.

  • We will have a chart of where your child will be standing on the stage to help you choose the seat that is right for your family.

DVDs and Digital Recordings of the play can be ordered for $20.00 each.

  • An order form went home in your child’s bag today.

A Few Reminders –

Sunscreen and/or Bug Spray should already be applied to your child before dropping off in the morning.

Arriving on time to school – Please arrive before 8:45

  • Late arrivals are disruptive to your child and their classroom.
  • All Preprimary classes are outside at 8:45, at different locations.
  • The office staff is not always available to answer the front door when we are getting children, who arrive late, to their correct outdoor play area.
  • If arriving after 8:45, children must be accompanied to the door by an adult until a staff member opens the front door.

Milk Jugs – The Elementary Class is still in need of your gallon sized milk jugs. These can be

handed to a staff member at drop off or pick up! Please remember to rinse out the jug before

bringing it to school. Thank you!
