Re-enrollment Contracts for August 2026 – May 2027 are going home today in your child’s bag and are due back on or before Wednesday, December 17^th.

• If you are re-enrolling, return the signed contract with the $100.00 registration fee (per child).
• If you are not re-enrolling, fill in your child’s name and initial the upper right-hand corner and return the contract to school.
• Current Kindergarteners and Mr. R’s Third graders will not need to return any paperwork.

Winter Break Survey – (Only for families with AM and/or PM care)

• Attached is the Winter Break Survey (a copy went home in your child’s bag last week).
• All families with AM and/or PM care in their child’s program, please fill out and return to school on or before Wednesday, December 17^th.

Holiday Carols – Wednesday, December 17^th at 10:00 AM

• The Elementary and Kindergarten students will be singing holiday carols to the residents.

Hot Chocolate Sale!

The Sequoia Room will be selling Hot Chocolate to donate money to the Vanderburgh Humane Society.

• When: Thursday, December 18^th from 3:00-5:15 PM
• Where: Back field pergola area/nature trail; Enter through the Front Office.
• Cost: $1.00 per cup.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult.

No School: Monday, December 22^nd through Monday, January 5^th

Holiday Daycare Days – Students who have AM and/or PM care in their program may attend their regular hours for daycare activities on these days:

• Monday, December 22^nd and Tuesday, December 23^rd.
• Monday, December 29^th through Wednesday, December 31^st.
• Monday, January 5^th.
• The building will be totally closed on: Wednesday, December 24^th – Friday, December 26^th and January 1^st-2^nd.

Montessoirée 2026 – PTO’s annual fundraising dinner: Save The Date!

• Saturday, February 21^st

Holiday Family Cards: If you send out holiday family pictures/cards, we would love to have one. You can mail it or hand it to a staff member at drop off/pick up. We love to hear from past families as well as current families!

A few reminders –

Arriving on time to school – Please arrive before 8:45

• Late arrivals are disruptive to your child and their classroom.
• All Preprimary classes are outside at 8:45, at different locations.
• The office staff is not always available to answer the front door when we are getting children, who arrive late, to their correct outdoor play area.
• If arriving after 8:45, children must be accompanied to the door by an adult until a staff member opens the front door. 

Jackets, sweaters, etc. – It’s the time of year for colder weather in the morning, please send your child with a jacket/coat for outdoor playtime and remember to put your child’s name or initials inside to avoid any lost items. Thanks! 

If your child has a fever, is vomiting and/or has diarrhea, they must stay home for 24 hours from their last symptom; even if this happened over the weekend.

Sending things to school via Montessori bag – If you are sending an item in the Montessori bag, please let us know via email. We do not regularly check the children’s bags.
