Montessori enrolls students starting at age 3 and potty trained. All of our programs are five days a week as we believe consistency in environment is vital to children at this critical age of development. We offer both school year and year round programs.
Classrooms all have mixed age groups (ages 3-K). Mixed age groupings honor individual differences and build community. Students learn according to their development level. Multi-age groupings allow teachers to work with their students for more than one year, getting to know their individual needs and encouraging joyful learning by introducing concepts at developmentally appropriate times. In addition, combined age classrooms create a nurturing home-like community where younger children are motivated to move ahead by watching their older classmates while older children reinforce their own learning by helping the younger ones.
