Notes Home – Monday, February 7, 2022

EZ School lunch – Due to the school closures on Thursday and Friday of last week, the lunch choices for those days were not charged any fees. Please call the office if you have any questions.

Valentine Cards Guidelines/Reminder – We’ll be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Monday,
February 14th.

  • R’s class has a different set of guidelines. Please check his blog for details.
  • If the cards come with a sticker or tattoo that is fine, but please do not send any type of candy or additional items for the class.
  • A card needs to be sent for each student in the class.

(Ms. April 21, Ms. Corie 18, Mrs. Corn, 19, Ms. Lori 19, Mrs. Theriac 20)

  • Your child’s name should be written in the “From” place, but do not address them to individual students.
  • Send an email to your teacher or the office when sending cards in with your child. Feel free to send them in early. 

 No school Monday, February 21st 2022. Students who have AM and/or PM care in their program may attend their regular hours for daycare activities. Reminder – there will be no car lines for drop offs or pickups on daycare days.

Montessoiree 2022 – PTO’s Annual Fundraiser

  • The event will take place Saturday, February 26th.
  • DoubleTree Hotel – 601 Walnut Avenue Evansville, IN 47708.
  • Dinner, dancing, silent & live auction.
  • Donations are due by this Friday, February 11th.

What kind of things are auctioned?

New auction items are arriving daily! Current live and silent auction items include a $3,000 lighting package from Aching Acres Landscaping, a 3-night stay at a Gulf Coast beach access accommodation, Lunch with Mayor Winnecke, Tickets to Disney on Ice at the Ford Center, fitness packages, fun baskets for kids of all ages, and of course, the Montessori class quilts!

Sugar Bush Social – In the past, the Elementary class hosted a Sugar Bush Social with a little help from our families. If you have a maple tree(s) in your yard and are willing to “tap” the sap, we can provide the tubes, jug(s) and simple instructions…just let us know by responding to this email!
