School Pictures and Covid– One of the photographers developed a fever yesterday (Sunday). He is having a Covid test today. If he is negative, the other photographer in their office will come and do pictures Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week.
We will move our tomorrow (Tuesday) classes (Mrs. Corn and Mrs. Theriac) to Friday for pictures.
If the photographer’s Covid test is positive, all the picture days will be moved to sometime in November.
New School Picture Schedule – Order forms due back on or before your child’s picture day
Wednesday, October 28 – Ms. Sarah and Ms. Lori
Thursday, October 29 – Ms. April and Mr. R
Friday, October 30 – Mrs. Corn and Mrs. Theriac
Time Change is this Sunday morning (November 1). The time will fall back 1 hour Sunday morning.
Fall Clean Up Day – If you can help with our fall clean up on Saturday, November 7th from 8:00 to 11:00, please email Kristi at: Kgaultmontessori@gmail.com
We’d be happy to have you for all or just part of the time. This will be an adults only activity and masks will be required. We’ll be raking, trimming, sweeping, pulling weeds, etc. Please bring any tools you think appropriate and gloves.
New Phone System Change – With our new system, the phone will ring 4 times and then switch your call to one of our phone lines. This system allows us to accept faxes from physicians’ offices 24/7.
Covid 19 Update – Several of you have inquired about our protocol regarding positive cases. The whole school will receive a text letting you know if there is a positive Covid case at school. An email will then follow with details.
Extra Clothes – If you are sending fall/winter extra clothes to replace your child’s summer clothes, please send an email to your child’s teacher so we know to look for the clothes.
A reminder about ventilated masks – If you are currently sending a mask with an exhalation valve, we need you to switch to a standard 2 or 3-layer mask. Exhalation valves give more protection to the wearer, but less protection for those around the person.
