Montessoiree 2022 – PTO’s Annual Fundraiser
- The event will take place this Saturday, February 26th at 5:00pm.
- DoubleTree Hotel – 601 Walnut Avenue Evansville, IN 47708.
- Dinner, dancing, silent & live auction.
What kind of things are auctioned?
Auction Items – Current live and silent auction items include Thomas Rhett tickets, Disney on Ice, a $3,000 lighting package from Aching Acres Landscaping, a 3-night stay at a Gulf Coast beach access accommodation, Lunch with Mayor Winnecke, Tickets to Disney on Ice at the Ford Center, fitness packages, fun baskets for kids of all ages, and of course, the Montessori class quilts!
Night School will be Thursday, March 3rd – Night School is the opportunity for you to see what your child does each day at school. Your child (with the guidance of the teacher) will have selected a sample of the works they want to demonstrate for you the evening of Night School.
- There will be two sessions: 5:30-6:15 or 6:30-7:15.
- Reservations are required. Signups for Night School will begin this Thursday, February 24th. Teachers will send an email or post on their blogs regarding how to sign up.
- Montessori siblings should be signed up for the same session.
- Up to two adults per family.
- Space is extremely limited so we cannot include siblings, friends, grandparents, etc.
Sugar Bush Social – In the past, the Elementary class hosted a Sugar Bush Social with a little help from our families. If you have a maple tree(s) in your yard and are willing to “tap” the sap, we can provide the tubes, jug(s) and simple instructions…just let us know by responding to this email!
This will begin to happen over the next couple of weeks. More info to come.
