Notes Home – Tuesday, November 17, 2020

Mrs. Theriac Covid Update – At the moment Mrs. Theriac’s main symptom is extreme fatigue along with a loss of taste and smell.

Covid Reminder – If someone in your child’s household is waiting on a Covid test, do not send your child to school until you receive the results. Remember, children are less likely to show symptoms, but can still be contagious. We have a number of staff with underlying health concerns and we want everyone to feel safe. Covid is now ramping up in our area, it’s really important to minimize possible exposure.

Wednesday, Nov. 25th – No School. Families with AM and/or PM care in their program may attend their regular hours for daycare activities.

Thursday, November 26th and Friday, November 27th the building will not be open for school or daycare

Policy Change:  With parents not being able to be in the building to supervise the transfer of items from one household to another (clothes, birthday gifts, etc.), it’s becoming increasingly more difficult to get things transferred from one house to another.  In addition, with the onset of the colder weather, the extra bags/packages are not fitting on hooks and coats, extra masks and clothes are ending up on the floor.

Moving forward we would like parents to make arrangements for transfers to happen outside of the school.

Extra Clothes – If you are sending fall/winter extra clothes to replace your child’s summer clothes, please send an email to your child’s teacher so we know to look for the clothes.
