See what is going on at Montessori Academy of Evansville.
New Playground –
Construction on our new playground will begin Monday, February 26th and last approximately 3 weeks. Classes will utilize our other outdoor play areas and/or have classroom playtime.
The Montessoirée has helped to raise money for this project. Come to Saturday’s fundraising event to see the construction company, Wilde Horticulture, give a presentation on our new playground!
Montessoirée 2024 – PTO’s annual fundraising dinner
- When: This Saturday, February 24th
- Time: 5:30 PM
- Where: Venue 812 – 1401 N. Boeke Rd. Evansville, IN 47711.
- What: Dinner, dancing, silent & live auction.
- What to wear: Smart, casual attire (what you might wear to the office, church or a nice dinner).
- Tickets can be purchased by clicking the attached QR code.

Night School will be Tuesday, March 5th – Save the date!
Night School is the opportunity for you to see what your child does each day at school.
Your child, with the guidance of the teacher, will have selected a sample of works they want to demonstrate for you the evening of Night School.
- There will be two sessions: 5:30-6:15 OR 6:30-7:15
- Space is extremely limited so we cannot include siblings, friends, grandparents etc.
- More info to come on how to sign up.
A few reminders –
Morning drop off/arriving on time –
- The car line ends at 8:45.
- When arriving at 8:45, parents are to park and walk their child(ren) to the front door.

School Calendar Change – April 8th, 2024
- No School or Daycare due to the Solar Eclipse.

If your child has a fever, is vomiting and/or has diarrhea, they must stay home for 24 hours from their last symptom; even if this happened over the weekend.
Sending things to school via Montessori bag – If you are sending an item in the Montessori bag, please let us know via email. We do not regularly check the children’s bags.
