See what is going on at Montessori Academy of Evansville.
Spring Break – No School Monday, March 25th through Friday, March 29th –
- Students who have AM and/or PM care in their program may attend their regular hours for daycare activities. Reminder – there will be no car lines for drop offs or pickups on daycare days.
- Spring Break Surveys (AM and/or PM care families only) went home in your child’s bag last week. Please let us know your child’s plans for Spring Break; you are also welcome to email back your plans and we’ll fill the survey out for you.
Montessori Summer Program – Registration forms for PrePrimary students went home last week.
- Please return forms with payment by Friday, April 12th.
- The program will be available for any student who is enrolled in the current PrePrimary school year, including Kindergarteners.
- Tuition will remain the same for the two 4-week summer sessions.
- Children will go on field trips and participate in swim lessons once a week.
Session One – June 3rd through June 28th Session Two – July 1st through July 26th
Annual School Play – Friday, April 19th @ 7:00 PM
Play Picture order forms will go home next week.
A few reminders –
School Calendar Change – April 8th, 2024
- No School or Daycare due to the Solar Eclipse.
New Playground –
Construction on our new playground has begun and will last approximately 3 weeks. Classes will utilize our other outdoor play areas and/or have classroom playtime.
Morning drop off/arriving on time –
- The car line ends at 8:45.
- When arriving at 8:45, parents are to park and walk their child(ren) to the front door.

Our schools phone number is showing up as spam to some families. Please save our phone number, (812)-479-1776, as a contact in your cell phone.
PTO Volunteer Signup –

If your child has a fever, is vomiting and/or has diarrhea, they must stay home for 24 hours from their last symptom; even if this happened over the weekend.
Sending things to school via Montessori bag – If you are sending an item in the Montessori bag, please let us know via email. We do not regularly check the children’s bags.
