Re-enrollment contracts are due back on or before this coming Monday, December 14^th.

If you are re-enrolling, return with $100 registration fee (per child).
If you are not re-enrolling, fill in child’s name and initial in upper right-hand corner and return to school.

Winter Break Surveys – (Only families with AM and/or PM Care)

Attached is the Winter Break Survey–We need all families with AM or PM care to fill out and return it to us. (If you’re not sure what your plans are, we have a “not sure” box!)

Gift Cards – If you participated in the PTO gift card fundraiser, we’ll be handing them off today at pickup.

Things to look for in December –

No school Monday, December 21^st through Monday, January 4^th.

Holiday Daycare Days – For students who have AM and/or PM care in their program. Those students may attend their regular hours for daycare activities.

Notes Home – Monday, November 30, 2020

Dear Parents,

Initially we indicated that my last day would be later in January, but if your replacement is so on top of things that you frequently have nothing to do in the afternoons, you reassess! My last day with Montessori will be at the end of December. Ms. Kristi will be the official Director when you return from winter break.

Over the last few years, knowing this time was coming, Ms. Kristi has worked to become the person you are connected with administratively. I have every confidence she will continue to do an outstanding job for you and your children.

Montessori has been a huge part of my life these past 24 years. It has also changed my way of thinking about parenting, child development and education. I am passionate about this Montessori school and staff. In my mind there is no better start for a child than here. I believe in it so much, you may still see me when we send our granddaughter here next year.

So, cheers to the New Year, New Start!

Covid Reminder – If someone in your child’s household is waiting on a Covid test, do not send your child to school until you receive the results. Remember, children are less likely to show symptoms, but can still be contagious. We have a number of staff with underlying health concerns and we want everyone to feel safe. Covid is now ramping up in our area, it’s really important to minimize possible exposure.

Lunch sign ups – Now is the time to complete your child’s lunch sign-up for December.

Fundraisers:

-Gift Card Order due by this Friday morning, December 4^th – This is the last time to place an order for gift cards.

Gift cards ordered by 12/4 will be distributed by Friday, 12/11.
