Update School Pictures and Covid– We are not sure when we’re going to get the outcome of the photographer’s Covid test, so the schedule has been changed to reflect a quarantine period.
Updated Picture Schedule – Order forms due back on or before your child’s picture day
Friday, November 6 – Mrs. Corn and Mrs. Theriac
Monday, November 9 – Ms. Sarah and Ms. Lori
Thursday, November 12 – Ms. April and Mr. R
Halloween Costumes – The children are very excited about Halloween. We ask that you save your child’s costume for at home and not have them wear to school.
Lunch Sign-up – November first is this Sunday, please sign up for November’s lunches.
Time Change is this Sunday morning (November 1). The time will fall back 1 hour Sunday morning.
Policy Change: With parents not being able to be in the building to supervise the transfer of items from one household to another (clothes, birthday gifts, etc.), it’s becoming increasingly more difficult to get things transferred from one house to another. In addition, with the onset of the colder weather, the extra bags/packages are not fitting on hooks and coats, extra masks and clothes are ending up on the floor.
Moving forward we would like parents to make arrangements for transfers to happen outside of the school.
Things to look for in November:
School Bookfair – Our School Bookfair starts Wednesday, November 4th and will run through Tuesday, November 17th.
This year our bookfair will be online.

Mr. R’s Parent/Teacher Conferences will be next Friday, November 6th. No school on conference day for Mr. R’s class, daycare for students with AM and/or PM care in their program. Mr. R will send an email regarding online signups.
Fall Clean Up Day – If you can help with our fall clean up on Saturday, November 7th from 8:00 to 11:00, please email Kristi at: Kgaultmontessori@gmail.com
We’d be happy to have you for all or just part of the time. This will be an adults only activity and masks will be required. We’ll be raking, trimming, sweeping, pulling weeds, etc. Please bring any tools you think appropriate and gloves.
No School on Wednesday, November 11th – If your child has AM and/or PM Care in their program, they may attend their regular hours and participate in day care activities. Reminder– there will be no car lines for drop offs or pickups.
Parent/Teacher Conferences for all of the preprimary classes (Mrs. Theriac, Ms. Sarah, Mrs. Corn, Ms. Lori, and Ms. April) will be on Friday, November 13th. No school for preprimary classes on conference day. Students who have AM and/or PM care in their program may attend their regular hours for daycare activities. Look for an email from your child’s teacher regarding how to sign up.
Thanksgiving Break will be from Wednesday, Nov. 25th through Friday, Nov. 27th. Families with AM and/or PM care in their program may attend their regular hours on Wednesday, November 25th for daycare activities. The building will not be open for school or daycare Thursday, November 26th or Friday, November 27th.
New Phone System Change – With our new system, the phone will ring 4 times and then switch your call to one of our phone lines. This system allows us to accept faxes from physicians’ offices 24/7.
Covid 19 Update – Several of you have inquired about our protocol regarding positive cases. The whole school will receive a text letting you know if there is a positive Covid case at school. An email will then follow with details.
