Mum Sale: Thank you to everyone who purchased mums or made a monetary donation. Our net profit was $3,400.

Jackets, sweaters, etc. – Please put your child’s name or initials inside to avoid any lost items. Thanks!

PTO Costume Party at CMoE – We are finalizing the last details for the party. Please RSVP today!

When: Friday, October 20^th.
Time: 5:30PM-7:30PM.
Who: Current Montessori families, including siblings.
Food: Pizza and beverages.
Wear: Costumes (no weapons please, even if they are a part of a costume).
Cost: $0! Hosted by the Montessori PTO!

Mr. R’s Class Field Trip –

The Elementary Class Planet Walk is on October, 27^th.

Children should wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes appropriate for the weather.
Children will need to bring a totally disposable lunch for the field trip. No lunchboxes, thermoses, etc. that would need to be returned home.
Elementary parents are welcome.

Monday, November 6^th – Ms. Corie, Ms. Lorie & Mr. R (Elementary)

Forms went home in your child’s bag today
Forms with payment are due back before or on your child’s picture day.
Make-up photos will be on these days as well (Nov. 3^rd and 6^th).

Front Lawn – We are growing new grass.

Please use the sidewalk areas for drop offs and pick-ups.
Please keep your children from playing on the front lawn.

If your child has a fever, is vomiting and/or has diarrhea, they must stay home for 24 hours from their last symptom; even if this happened over the weekend.

Sending things to school via Montessori bag – If you are sending an item in the Montessori bag, please let us know via email. We do not regularly check the children’s bags.

7th annual Day of the Dead Celebration

Volunteers Needed!!

7^th annual Day of the Dead Celebration – Come celebrate with us! Montessori Academy and EVPL join together to provide a beautiful cultural event free to the public. We hope our families can attend and participate in the craft activities, view the dancers, enjoy the food and join the art parade at the end of the festival. If you haven’t been, visit our Facebook page to see past photos of the event.

Saturday, November 4^th from 2-6 PM.
West Branch Library Grounds – see pamphlet for more information.
Volunteer time slots still give you the opportunity to participate in the celebration with your family.
We have many ways to participate!

Volunteers who can help load the truck on Thursday, Nov. 2 & Friday, Nov. 3 can contact Kristi or Sarah.
If you are interested in creating an ofrenda for a loved one, please let us know and email dayofthedead@evpl.org.
Our final volunteer request: we need two people who are available to go above and beyond; who can set up our fabulous dance canopy, one time here at school before the event, then the morning of the event, and lastly, taking it down after the event. We would be ever so grateful for your help!

Monday, October 16^th is a Daycare Day.

There will be No School.
Children who attend 8:30-2:45 will not come for daycare days.
If your child has AM and/or PM care in their program, they may attend their regular hours for daycare activities.
Reminder – there will be no car lines for drop offs or pickups on daycare days.
If your child is not attending on a daycare day, please remember to select “No Lunch” on EZ School so that you are not charged for a lunch that day.
